My kitchen breaker has started tripping every few days and I’ve been resetting it like an idiot instead of dealing with it properly. It only happens when the microwave and the kettle are on together, so I’m hoping it’s just too much on one circuit, but I’ve got a nagging feeling it could be something worse. A friend told me to look up kitchenbathpaloalto.com/locations/palo-alto/electrician/ before I assume the worst, which was actually useful because it explained the difference between an overload and a fault. But I’d rather hear from real people. Has anyone had a breaker that kept tripping and what did it turn out to be? Did you just get a new circuit installed or was it a loose connection somewhere? I’d rather sort it now than wait for something to actually fail.
